An apple a day keeps the doctor away. But an onion a day keeps everyone away. Onion and garlic has so many health benefits if used properly. However I am not going to talk about them in this article. What we learn today is how to get rid of bad breath, no matter how much the mouth smells bad after eating pungent garlic or stinky onion. First, I will briefly tell you what causes bad breath and then let you know of some useful herbal remedies.
What causes bad breath?
What if you have bad breath? First of all, you need to find the cause of the unpleasant mouth odour. Only then you may think of the possible successful ways of treating bad breath. Many believe that the only reason for bad breath is caries. However, this is not the case.
Bad breath is an alarming symptom of many diseases. It can arise due to diseases of teeth and gums (caries, gingivitis, periodontitis, etc.), and as a result of abnormalities of the ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) organs or the gastrointestinal tract.
What to do? Where to run to those who are determined to get rid of bad smell from the mouth?
First, answer yourself honestly - do you properly care for the oral cavity? Do you clean your tongue? After all, plaque on the tongue is quite a frequent cause of bad breath. A special spoon will help you to get rid of the plaque. You should scrape off the plaque once a day in the morning.
Second, pay attention to your water drinking regimen - do you drink enough water? The dryness of the mouth is one of the causes of the stench from the mouth. Especially those who are on a diet or hungry often experience bad breath. What to do? Drink at least 2 liters of clean water a day, especially when you limit yourself to nutrition.
Below are some natural remedies against bad breath. You may use those recipes but always remember to consult with your doctor if you are taking contemporary medicine to treat your diseases that cause bad breath.
